I am happy to say that I am making good on my 2011 commitment to keep this blog current. Ladies and gentlemen, this will be the first place to see your wedding highlights! I will still keep up equally with facebook, so don’t worry about that either 🙂 On to the main event…
Britney first contacted us last spring about doing an engagement session. We had a great time on the beach down in south Nags Head, and one thing led to another…we were booking plane tickets to the west coast! As everyone probably already knows, Chad and I love to travel. This one was especially a no-brainer because we knew we’d be able to visit with Chad’s dad, something Chad wishes he could do more often. We didn’t stop there. Chad talked his mom into heading down from Oregon to hang for the week+ vacation we were putting together. I owe a shout out go to Chad’s mom, MJ. Here you are on the blog! Thanks for coming, we had a blast! Thanks also go to Connie and Glenn for having us.
Back to the wedding! We arrived on the 15th, checked out Falkner Winery on the 16th, and shot the wedding on the 17th. Based on our initial visit, we were super excited and wasted no time in mapping out our creative plan. Thursday brought absolutely beautiful weather! We couldn’t have asked for better conditions. Here is Falkner Winery in Temecula, CA:

Britney wore her grandmother’s veil, and it was GORGEOUS!
How many bridesmaids does it take to lace up a dress? 🙂
This is Britney and Mike’s oldest son. Isn’t he the cutest?!
They have up’s!
Britney lookin’ goooood 🙂
When we got to the boys’ hotel room, they immediately told us their story of going on a 2 hour search for hats 🙂 Also lookin’ gooood.
Britney and Mike were technically married already, but don’t be fooled…this one was of the most romantic weddings ever! Just check out the barrel room:
The happy couple!
Their littlest could not wait to see his momma and daddy 🙂
The happy family!
Getting the party started!
Let’s just say we did not want for beautiful locations. I could have shot here for hours!
On to the reception…
What a cool cake, right? Maybe a little hint of their Vegas honeymoon?
Britney and Mike got the bright idea of smashing cake in their best lady and man’s faces instead of each other’s. These two had no clue, and it was hilarious!
Another great reception idea…a caricaturist!
Everyone spent the rest of the night dancing it away!
Congrats you two on a beautiful family and life together!
