Mima & Abraham hands down take the award for hottest wedding of the season! Nevertheless, it was a beautiful Outer Banks day and wedding. This was our first Ethiopian wedding ever, and I think we all had a great time experiencing all of the unfamiliar traditions. Fletcher and I started with the ladies, while Chad and Tyler met up with the guys.
Abraham and his groomsmen came to the girls’ house before the ceremony so that he could take Mima off to marry her, but not before having to fend off all the ladies of the house…
The ceremony was on the beach in Corolla. These girls were absolutely adorable. A big thanks goes out to Dorothy of Bells & Whistles for all of the beautiful flowers and decor! Rev. Jay Bowman rocked out the ceremony as always.
After the ceremony, we went to the Whalehead Club with the wedding party for some fun shots. I just love how the bright blue pops off of the green tree background!
Isn’t she gorgeous?!
Mima & Abraham’s reception was at The Hilton Pier House in Kitty Hawk. Dorothy did an amazing job with their bright, exotic colors…
Later in the evening, when the sun was on the verge of setting, we took Mima & Abraham out to the beach. The sky was perfect, the temperature had cooled down, and they looked stunning.
The rest of the night was filled with dancing and laughter!
These last few are from the next day at The Elizabethan Gardens. Congrats!
